halfemptyglassesMirai has a just visible pinprick wound on her right hand between her thumb and forefinger. This wound is always open (that is, she will not let it clot or close naturally) and usually covered in bandages. Mirai keeps this wound in order to draw out her blood and utilize it as a weapon, most often in the form of a sword. She probably won't smell like it to a baseline human, or at least it's never mentioned by any baseline humans in the anime, but anyone able to detect such subtle scents will be able to notice it on her.
Mirai's blood is also corrosive by nature. She can use it to erode away pretty much anything. (Clothes are relatively extraordinary in this case. She can use her blood to burn straight through trees, but her clothes and bandages are just fine?) She can control this corrosive nature with the help of the gold band she wears on her right little finger. This probably also has an effect on her scent despite the ring.
When is Mirai's blood corrosive and when is it safe? Here are the guidelines I'm using for the game based on anime canon observations:
Awake and wearing her ring = safe blood
Awake and she took her ring off = corrosive
Unconscious and the ring is on her person = safe blood
Unconscious and the ring is not on her person = corrosive
Will Mirai use her blood to attack your pup?
Unless your pup is directly attacking her, no. She uses her blood to hunt youmu, and that is reluctant at best. Having a place like Milliways, where people don't know her family and what they can do with their blood, will leave her even more reluctant. Unless you're Kanbara Akihito, you probably don't have to worry about it. And if you are Kanbara Akihito, well, you're outside business anyway.
Should your pup attempt to feed on Mirai's blood?
Proooooobably not. Once her blood is out of her body and independent of her control, it will revert to its corrosive default. If it's out of her body but still under her control, she can retrieve it and probably wreck your pup in the process. On top of that, she has enough issues with anemia already. That's just not going to make anyone happy.
Should your pup attempt to treat injuries on Mirai?
As long as she's in possession of her ring, even if she's unconscious, it should be safe. Mirai has had others wrap her bandages under those conditions with no ill effects.
